Besides the campsites listed above, it is also possible to camp free of charge at the following locations -

1) the Fiddich Park, Craigellachie ( the toilet facilities in the Fiddich Park are open April till October)

2) Blacksboat Station (water tap only)

3) Ballindalloch Station (seasonal toilet and water supply)

4) Tomintoul (opposite the Glenlivet Estate Visitor Centre, using the public facilities in the village)

New opportunities for camping may be developed as the extended route becomes busy, and the demand more apparent.
