MORAY DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2000
PLI Report - Introduction


This is the report of the Public Local Inquiry into objections to the Moray Local Plan 2000.
The Inquiry was convened between the 10 August 1999 and 27 August 1999 by Mr David R Penman, DA Edin ARICS, Dip TP Edin FRTPI.

The Moray Council has considered Mr Penman’s Report at their meeting of 1 March 2000 and agreed to accept and modify the plan to accord with all his recommendations. modifications arising from the report are contained in modification schedule two below.

Local Plan Modifications

Modification Schedule One was published for objection in May 1999 and is available here for information only.

Modification Schedule Two was published for objection on 1 March 2000 and is available here for information only.

The Moray Council considered final objections to modification Schedule Two on 26 April 2000 and decided to make no further changes to the plan. Details of the final objections and the Councils considerations of them is available here.

The Council resolved to Adopt the Moray Local Plan on 26 April 2000.
