The Access Project has announced that the Fourth Editions of its highly successful Guides are now available. The Moray Guide to Mental Health Services, The Moray Disability Guide and The Moray Access Guide have been updated and expanded and are currently being distributed throughout Moray.
Lindsay Robertson, Access Project Information and Events Officer said, "We hope that all three guides will contribute to individuals being able to make informed choices about the services available in Moray. All three guides have become an invaluable reference resource and we hope that the extensive work that has gone into updating this edition will ensure the guides continue to be an essential part of the support services available within Moray".
To ensure that the guides are accessible to all they have been made available in cassette and CD format and are also available
on the internet at www.accessproject.co.uk. The guides are to be reviewed on a regular basis and everyone who registers their
copy will receive updates on the service developments within Moray.
The guides, which are completely free of charge, have been planned and organised by the Access Project, in partnership with the Moray Council and match funded by the European Union. The Access Project is a consortium of voluntary/community groups who work in partnership to build capacity within local organisations and to provide a co-ordinated information service for people with learning, physical or sensory disabilities and/or mental health problems, their families, carers, and support organisations.
