The Moray Community Planning Partnership’s Report covering the period from September 2003 until March 2005 is now available.
The Report sets out the considerable achievements of the Partnership over the past 18 months in putting in place the structures and processes for moving forward in addressing the key future challenges facing the people of Moray.
Councillor Eric McGillivray, Chair of the Community Planning Steering Group said, “Since its formation in 1999 the Moray Community Planning Partnership has been making a real difference to the lives of people in Moray. This process allows the community to access the partners to gain assistance in delivering the shared vision for their area”.
Superintendent Alan Smailes of Grampian Police said, “Community Planning recognises the fact that many of the agencies working in public service, including the police, already share common ground in terms of identified local priorities. The success of Community Planning in the long term will be measured by establishing how effectively we have ‘joined-up’ our services to tackle these priorities”.
The Report can be viewed on the Community Planning website at www.moraycommunity.org.uk. Copies of the Report, which can be produced in alternative formats and languages, can also be obtained by contacting the Community Planning Officer on Tel 01343 563343.
