No experience is necessary just lots of enthusiasm and a commitment to have a go. The course takes place from 25th to 29th July in Elgin Community Centre and costs £35 (£20 concession).
An exciting opportunity for young people in Moray to participate in the creation of two new pieces of choreography. 13 – 18 year olds will explore the theme of young people choosing to or being forced out of living with their parents, using the music of Martyn Bennett. 8 – 12 year olds will explore many different dance styles to create their own journey through dance. The new works will be premiered at an informal performance in Elgin Town Hall at the end of the week. This project is open to anyone aged 8 to 18. No dance experience is necessary just energy, enthusiasm and commitment. Led by Jeni MacRae – Youth Dance Development Worker and other tutors the project will take place from Monday 8th to Friday 12th August at Elgin Town Hall and Elgin Community Centre.
