Join Doug Hawkes, Moray Coast Countryside Ranger on Saturday 22nd October 2005 at Quarrelwood, Elgin to collect the fallen leaves of summer and use them to make a picture of the forest scene. Find which trees the leaves belonged to and use a bud key to identify tree species from the buds that hold next year’s growth. This is a fun family event.
If you would like to come along meet at 11 a.m. at Brumley Brae forest car park in Quarrelwood on the road signposted to the Pet Centre off Morriston Road, Elgin. This event will last 1½ hours.
