Temporary Weight Restrictions on the Cally Bridge
Date -15 Dec 2005 Return to previous page

Due to recent damage to the Cally Bridge on the B9102 just south of Upper Knockando, the Moray Council has implemented a temporary 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the bridge until such time as suitable repairs can be carried out.

The effect of this will be that all heavy traffic travelling south past Upper Knockando along the B9102, towards Grantown-on-Spey, will be diverted via the A941, A95 and B9138.  Conversely any heavy traffic travelling north along the B9102 from the Grantown-on-Spey direction to the Upper Knockando and Archiestown area will be diverted via the B9138, A95 and A941.

The Moray Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by the implementation of this temporary weight restriction.  However, for reasons of road safety, this restriction is necessary and all traffic over the 7.5 tonne weight limit should observe the temporary road signs and proceed as directed.
