Bank of Scotland Midnight League goes back to Buckie
Date -10 Jan 2007 Return to previous page

The Bank of Scotland and Scottish Football Association have joined in partnership with Moray Council once again this year to provide funding for the successful Midnight League to continue in Buckie during 2007.

The popularity of the league among young people, coupled with the reduction in youth disorder when it has been in operation, has made Buckie one of the projects most successful locations.

The league will start on Friday 19th January and continue until 23rd March. Due to previous success it has been decided to split the evening into 2 separate age groups with 12-14 year olds participating from 9.00-10.15 pm and 14-16 year olds participating from 10.15-11.30 pm. The venue will be the games hall at Buckie Community High School and again the league will be free of charge to participants. Participants can enter as a team or individually.
