Fundraising Seminar - Tuesday 30th January 2007
Date -10 Jan 2007 Return to previous page

A Fundraising Seminar to be held on Tuesday 30th January 2007 at the Elgin Town Hall, will provide an excellent opportunity to find out more about fundraising on a range of topics, and how to apply for it.

A number of workshops will be facilitated by leading speakers from The Big Lottery, Heritage Lottery Fund, Community Scotland, and much more. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions throughout the day and limited surgery appointments will be available.

The need to develop fundraising skills has never been more important. With pressure on traditional sources of finance, it is essential that organisations are able to tap into as many resources as possible to secure the future of their services. One of the workshops will explore what organisations need to have in place before they can fundraise successfully and how they can approach the issue of core funding and sustainability.

There will also be an opportunity to hear how communities can generate energy from renewable sources. Participants will learn how to save money on heating and electricity bills, and perhaps even earn income.

The seminar is free of charge and refreshments and a light buffet will be available. If you would like an application form, please telephone 01343 563476. The closing date for applications is Friday 19th January, so don't delay - book now to avoid disappointment.

The seminar is organised and funded in partnership between the Access Project, the Moray Council, HIE Moray and the European Social Fund Objective 3 Programme.

For further information about the seminar, please contact 01343 563493 or 01343 563425.
