Richard Lochhead (Scottish National Party SNP) was elected Member of the Scottish Parliament for Moray. Mr Lochhead secured a total of 15,045 votes, a majority of 7,924 over the nearest candidate, Mary Scanlon (Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party). Lee Butcher (Scottish Labour Party) polled 4,580 votes. Domonique Rommel polled 3,528 votes.
