Having a BALL in Buckie

Date Added - 28/05/09

Buckie is the latest community in Moray to have a BALL group – Be Active Life Long – for over 60s.

It follows a successful taster session organised earlier this month by Moray Council and NHS Grampian which attracted around 30 people.

BALL groups are already running successfully throughout Moray, offering over 60s a wide range of activities to help them keep active and encourage social interaction.

The new Buckie group will meet for the first time at the Fishermen’s Hall on Tuesday, June 2 from 10.15am to 12.30pm. The cost of the weekly sessions is £2.

Anyone interested in joining should simply turn up on the day or register in advance by calling 01343 563657.
