20mph speed limit

A 20mph speed limit is to be introduced in part of Lossiemouth.
The proposal for the Seatown area was approved today by Moray Council’s economic development and infrastructure services committee.
It followed concerns among residents about speeding and driver behaviour in the area.
Consultation with residents and visitors to a nearby caravan park found strong support for a 20mph limit.
Additional waiting restrictions will also be introduced to deter indiscriminate parking.
