Primary pupils in the Forres area are looking forward to some strictly Scottish country dancing.
They are to be given a six-week block of Scottish country dancing lessons in celebration of the Year of Homecoming.
The initiative has come from Moray Council’s Forres-based Active Schools co-ordinator Rosalyn Carruthers in conjunction with local dance teacher Margaret Ross, who will teach five different dances to 180 boys and girls.
Schools taking part are Applegrove, Anderson’s, Pilmuir, Alves, Dyke, Kinloss and Logie.
