A crowd of over 3000 cheered the Olympic torch today as it passed through Tomintoul.
There was a carnival atmosphere in the village as the flaming torch reached the highest point in its round Britain tour.
The main street was lined with spectators as torch bearer Ciara Ennis, from Huntly, ran her leg of the journey, accompanied by singing from the specially formed Moray High Choir.
The torch arrived from Grantown-on-Spey and continued on its way to Deeside after passing through Tomintoul, where children from a number of primary schools were among the cheering crowd.
