Botriphnie Primary School has been in existence since 1875. The school was upgraded in 2000 and all accommodation is contained within the original Victorian building. The main teaching area is used by the P1-P3 class. There is a large and attractive hall, which is currently used as a teaching area for the P4-P7 class. Physical education takes place in the village hall. The canteen also provides another useful teaching area. The building also contains a staffroom, toilets and an office.
