Applegrove was built in the 1950s and stands in the picturesque setting between Orchard Road and Sanquhar Road. It has an extensive tarred play area immediately surrounding the school, a sports field and grass land to the boundaries. The school is built in a ‘U’ shape. There is a single storey wind which includes a library and computer suite, and a 2-storey wing which includes a library and general purpose rooms. We are fortunate to have an attractive Assembly Hall with stage, which doubles as a dining room and drama area; and there is a separate physical education hall.
