The school is a co-educational, non-denominational establishment, providing education for children in pre-school to primary 7. The school also has a unit for children with autistic spectrum disorder. The school was built in 1966 after being transferred from what is now the Stables Inn on the Findhorn Road. The school merged with Abbeylands School in 1997.
