We oversee the Council's environmental responsibilities for its Local Agenda 21, for the built environment (Listed Buildings, Conservation areas, Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites) and for the natural environment (protection of trees, biodiversity and scientific sites and special areas such as the Cairngorms, the Moray Firth coast and the River Spey. We also implement an annual programme of Environmental Improvement projects
