Supporting People is a Government initiative to streamline the administration and funding of housing support given to vulnerable people in their own homes. It is about the promotion of independent living and giving people choices regarding the support given to them. Services that come into the housing support category can include general counselling and support, maintaining the safety and security of the dwelling and assistance with cleaning, shopping and running errands
