The Council is keen to encourage tenants to take an active part in the management of their homes. It is currently consulting on a draft Tenant Participation Strategy. It has a devolved structure for local representation in the form of Local Area Forums and a Central Tenants Core Group with representatives elected as non-voting members of Community Services Committee.
