Approved Contractors List

An approved list of suppliers and or contractors is maintained and is amended as required from time to time by the local authority. Local businesses may apply to be placed on the list of approved suppliers for work to be carried out for or on behalf of the council .

The Corporate Repairs and Maintenance approved Contractor’s Register is currently under review for all reactive repairs and individual planned contracts up to £30,000 in value. Applications received by the stated deadline of 15 December 2010, following advertisement on Public Contracts Scotland, are currently being evaluated and the new Framework Arrangements will go live from 1 April 2011.
