Reception and information hubs

Elgin Reception

A reception is open on Elgin High Street, at the site of the former access point. It is open between 8.45am and 5pm (Mon-Fri), and residents can visit to drop off forms or evidence, or to attend pre-booked appointments with council staff, for example housing or benefits.

Information hubs

Hubs are available within Elgin Library during its opening hours, and in Forres library during its opening hours (from 26 September 2022).

General enquiries can be made at information hubs, and residents can also access online services; free phone the contact centre; get help filling in council forms; and drop off forms or evidence.

Information hubs within Buckie and Keith are set to open before the end of 2022, with other libraries to follow in 2023, following the recruitment and training of staff.

Our main switchboard telephone number is 01343 543451 during office hours 8.45am to 5pm Monday to Friday
