Due to the complex nature of our ICT system we are unable to run backdated reports in relation to our housing list.  We have only been able to respond using our archived data at the 31st March each year.  In some cases we are unable to provide an answer as we would have needed to run the information asked for on that specific date.

4.  On 01 April 2015, what was the longest that any household had been on your housing waiting list?

Again for the reasons already mentioned, we can only provide the information as at the current point and time (20 August 2015).

Guided by our allocations policy, we prioritise the households in the greatest housing need using a points based system.  We will only take the time on the list into account for homeless applicants who are not awarded points.

Q3          For those at offerable statuses, the longest any household has been waiting is 47 years (waiting list applicant).
Q4          For those at offerable statuses, the longest any household with a disability has been waiting is 23 years (waiting list applicant).
