Thank you for sending the attachment containing the Moray Council's conclusion to our complaint. Our response is as follows if you would be so kind to pass this on to Mr Cooper.

I shall indeed be taking this to the Ombudsman as we are not satisfied with the conclusion.  At 3km from the collection point we are more than twice the distance than the examples given. I still do not see why we should have to foot the bill for fuel when others paying Council Tax the same as us do not.  The financial and emotional impact this decision has is NOT acceptable!

Please forward a copy of the notes associated with the Council investigation so that we may see this for ourselves.
