Housing Support

Our housing support service helps people aged 16 and over to live as independently as possible within the community, regardless of the type of accommodation they live in.

The service helps people who are at risk of homelessness and vulnerable people to keep their accommodation and maintain independence.  Read our leaflet about housing support and our Housing Support Policy.

A wide range of people can access housing support : people living in sheltered housing, homeless people, women experiencing domestic violence, people with a chronic illness, ex-offenders, young people leaving home, and more.

Types of support can include:

  • accommodation
  • financial support
  • practical skills
  • education, training and employment
  • emotional support
  • health
  • social issues

You can email our housing support team for more information. Our housing support services are regulated by the Care Inspectorate.
