Disabled parking bays

If you require residential, on-street disabled parking, you can apply to have a disabled parking space outside your home.

We assess requests for the provision of parking spaces for those with disabilities.  To meet the requirements, you must:

  • have a valid Blue Badge, which is valid for at least 6 months from the date of application;
  • not have suitable off-street parking i.e. driveway or garage
  • have a car registered to your address, which is kept at that address
  • have a persistent parking problem near the address.

A space will only be provided where there is a suitable location.

Please note, that we are prevented from reserving this Disabled Facility for your use only, should you be successful. Any disabled badge holder is allowed to make use of all facilities under present legislation.
