FOI Request - Potholes (2)

Could you answer the following questions in accordance with FOI please?
Ideally I would like up to date info. If info is not up to date, can you state when it is accurate from?

1.a) How many individual pot holes do you have in your area?
b) If possible, how many as a result of the recent winter?

2. a) What is the estimated total cost of fixing them all?
b) What is the cost of pot holes from the winter just gone?

3. a) How much has your council paid out in compensation because of incidents related to pot holes in the last five years?
b) Can you please list the three biggest individual pay outs, with a brief summary of the incident?

1.a) This information is not held and is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.  The closest data we would have is the number of instructions currently issued for the repair of carriageway defects, which is 382 (at 08/03/16).  It is important to note that each works instruction may cover the repair of several carriageway defects at a location, and also that only some of those defects will actually be potholes. 

1.b) This information is not held and is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002..

2.a) The estimated cost of the above 382 instructions is £53,650.
