3)  This information is not held and is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.  The closest data we have is the number of ‘carriageway defect’ works instructions which were completed in 2015 - which was 4266.  It is important to note that each of these works instruction may have included the repair of several carriageway defects within a vicinity, and that only some of the defects repaired would have been potholes.

4)  This information is not held and is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.  The closest data we have is the number of ‘carriageway defect’ works instructions which were completed in 2014 - which was 2840.  It is important to note that each of these works instruction may have included the repair of several carriageway defects within a vicinity, and that only some of the defects repaired would have been potholes.

5)  Budgets are set by financial year, not calendar year.  The budget for the reactive repair of carriageway defects in 2013-14 and 2014-15 is already available online here (see items H007 and H008 on page number 9); this information is therefore exempt under Section 25 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, information otherwise accessible.  It is important to note that these budgets are for the repair of all types of carriageway surface defects, and not just potholes.

6)  Already answered within Q.5
