FOR EACH OF THE LAST FIVE YEARS (January to December)

1. Please give details of any reports of problems with school buildings that led to a reportable accident.

2. Please give details of the accident,  any injuries involved and remedial work done.

3. Please give details of any repairs that were assessed as presenting a direct risk to pupils and/or staff.

4. Please give details of what the problem was, and the work that was done.

5. Please give details of the number of requests made for repairs in  PFI/PPP schools and non PFI/PPP schools. Please list the requests by school. How many repairs were completed in each instance?

6.Please detail how much was spent on school maintenance in each of the last five years. Please break down into PFI/PPP and Non PFI/PPP Schools.

Note: The Moray Council does not have any Private Finance Initiative (PFI) or Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, but we do have two schools built under a Non-Profit Distributing (NPD) contract which we have interpreted as separate from ‘non PFI/PPP schools’ for the purposes of this request.

All other schools:  To investigate and list every repair for all schools within Moray would take the department over 60 hours with a cost in excess of £600. As a result, this information is exempt under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Excessive Cost of Compliance.
