FOI Request - Private Tutors
I recently asked the Scottish Government what information it holds regarding the number of private tutors teaching 14-18 year old's in each local authority area there are.
The response received from John Swinney, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, states that this information is not held centrally. This being the case I would be grateful if you could provide this information for your local authority.
This information is not held and is therefore exempt under section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. Parents would either have to look in the papers to see if anyone was offering their services or place an advert for a tutor themselves.
