The Moray Council meets with Trade Union representatives on a quarterly basis. The Officer/Trade Union Group Constitution states: “The Group shall consist of members from the employer and employee side, relevant to the issues on the agenda. Membership shall be drawn from representatives of the recognised trade unions and departmental and Personnel Services representatives of the Moray Council.”
- The Council does not have any say in how the union representatives are elected.
- Again, this is a matter for the unions to decide.
- This is not information that the employer side, ie the Council, would hold.
