Acting on behalf of a client. An accident occurred on 23 August 2016 involving said client. the circumstances are that during the course of their employment at Seafield Primary School, Deanshaugh Terrace, Elgin IV30 4ES the client was struck on the shoulder by a defective light panel.
We would be grateful if you would provide us with all documentation for the 12 months prior to the clients accident to present, including but not exclusively limited to the following, with the personal details of all individuals other than the data subject redacted if necessary:
1. Inspection and Maintenance records of said school grounds
2. Inspections policy
3. Records of works instruction
4. Details of all parties who operated on a commercial capacity 12 months prior to 23 August 2016 and 3 months after 23 August 2016
5. Photographs or CCTV footage of said accident
6. Previous accident reports relating to said defect
7. Previous complaints records regarding the said defect
8. Accident  reports
9. Witness statements

Those elements of the above exempted from disclosure under Section 12 have been exempted after consultation with the relevant departments. We have a duty under section 16 of the FOI(S)A to provide help and assistance. Given this, we have engaged with the department and foresee that once relevant staff return at the beginning of the school term the amount of information that can searched for, retrieved, collated, and redacted per hour will increase sufficiently. This change will result in this exemption (FOI(S)A S12) no longer applying. We will, therefore, endeavour to pass this information to you as soon as possible after the start of the new term which is Tuesday 15 August 2017.
