7. What steps has your Authority taken towards ensuring that time for training in the delivery and analysis of SNSAs has been made available and been fully accounted for within School Working Time Agreements?

Response 06-10-2017

1. This has been determined by assessment structures that are currently in place for existing standardised assessments

2.   There has been considerable work undertaken in primary and secondary sectors for assessment and moderation to support and improve teacher professional judgement

3.  In the first instance this will be the case, this will be reviewed after the first year

4. This is the suggested approach which has been agreed by schools

5. As a diagnostic tool to gauge progress and support targets and next steps for intervention and improvement for pupil attainment

6.  This is not an authority agreement or requirement though some schools have chosen to continue with other standardised assessments, mainly to support PEF approaches
