Could you please disclose how many inspections you carried out on private rented housing in 2017, 2016, 2015,2014? Please provide a breakdown
-How many warnings or penalties have been issued to landlords over the same period?  (If one individual received multiple warnings/penalties please outline how many they received)
-How many prosecutions have you brought against private landlords over the same period and on what grounds? Please provide an annual breakdown.
-How many of those have been successfully prosecuted?
-Among those you attempted to prosecute, how many of had been warned/fined in the past and how many times?

-Number of inspections carried out on private rented properties:

2014 - 277

2015 - 235

2016 - 261

2017 - (to 31/10/17) 196

-There have been no prosecutions in any of these years

-This information is exempt under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002- Excessive cost of compliance. It is not possible to provide information on the number of warnings as this is not recorded in a reportable way and would only be recorded in individual landlord's files.
