Housing Support Policy Consultation

On 9 June 2017 the Scottish Government launched the National Health and Social Care Standards: My support, my life. These Health and Social Care Standards set out what people should expect when using health, social care or social work services in Scotland. The standards seek to provide better outcomes for everyone; to make sure that individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and that the basic human rights we are all entitled to are upheld. You can read more about the standards here.

Our Housing Service offers support to vulnerable/homeless people to help them stay in their homes and maintain independence. We need to make sure our Housing Support Service meets these new standards so we need to make some changes to our policy. You can read the proposed policy here.

Your feedback is important to us so we would like your views on the changes we are proposing. You can give us your feedback by completing a short online survey before 19 January 2018. Once the survey closes we will use the feedback we receive to make any final changes to the Housing Support Services Policy.

If you have any questions about the revised policy please contact us on 0300 123 4566.
