These classes have been our most successful over the years and incorporate the fun of being in the pool together with a unique type of non-load bearing exercise as the natural buoyancy of the water takes the stress and strain off of joints and muscles. Classes are offered in both shallow and deep water areas of the pool.

Circuit training The circuit class comprises cardio, fat burning and weights exercises performed in rotation with rest, geared to be flexible to your own ability. There is a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement patterns. You get everything you need!

An aerobic workout to music, the class is suitable for all ages and abilities with exercises done to dance music. It is a popular class with a variety of exercises to give yourself a good workout.
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is one of the most effective ways to get results fast! You will experience a workout to music where multiple fitness components such as power endurance, mobility, aerobic power and speed-strength are developed in specially designed complexes. You’ll exercise as hard and fast as you can for a short burst, then slow things down for a brief recovery period. (Then do it again, and again!)
Using a stationary bike, indoor cycling classes can increase energy, cardio-vascular fitness and lower body strength, as well as burning between 400-500 kcal in 45 minutes. This is normally undertaken as a group activity with an instructor who will lead you through a series of exercises using the tension of the cycle to simulate different conditions, e.g. hard uphill cycling or easy distance cycling. The class works to a music routine and offers excellent short and sharp exercise, guaranteed to get your heart rate racing. Most classes will cater for all levels but check with facility staff for details.
Working on speed, plyometric, strength, stability, agility, co-ordination, abs and core, all in separate rounds and to great music. Get the extreme workout and ‘dig deep.’ Can be regressed and progressed to suit all levels from beginner to advanced.
(School Holidays Only) The Kids’ Circuit class is a fun and exciting way to keep your little ones fit and healthy. Our workouts are tailored to get kids involved in physical fitness and to help them learn to enjoy exercise and the benefits of staying active.
Kettlebell exercises work on the whole body – particularly the lower back, hips, legs, mid-section and shoulders – using weight to tone and build muscle, which helps to sculpt and define your body, while also getting a great cardio workout. Build strength and endurance, develop your core strength, and increase grip strength. You burn fat fast as well as improving your cardiovascular system. The basic movements, such as the swing, snatch, and the clean and jerk, engage the entire body at once in a way that mimics real world activities. Kettlebells are suitable for any level.

Metafit is 30 minutes of high intensity exercise, which includes a series of body weight exercises with interval style training, designed to fire up the metabolism, tone muscle and ultimately burn fat. Metafit total body workouts will ensure your metabolism is maxed out for 24 hours to keep burning calories long after your training session is complete. It is suitable for everyone and you can adjust the exercises to suit your own abilities, whilst training hard the entire time.
Mixed intensity interval training for those who want a short, sharp exercise class. Options can be given to work at different intensity levels.
Proving to be a popular pool-based exercise and similar to aqua-aerobics but concentrating on leg and core. Great workout for cardiovascular fitness.
This class focuses on improving body awareness and everyday life by increasing flexibility and range of motion. It also helps to relieve stress and tension, by relaxing the mind and body. Ideal for all levels and abilities of fitness!
A circuit training-type class with exercise stations that will include a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement patterns – an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina while burning fat. Geared to be flexible to your own ability, the circuit training comprises six to ten strength exercises performed for a specified number of repetitions or for a set time before moving on to the next exercise.
