FOI Request - Age, Gender and Ethnic Origin Data

With regards to your Council’s scheme of delegation and the appointment of statutory or monitoring roles I am seeking the following details:

•      For each role confirm if a male or female holds role
•      What is the age group for both male or female broken e.g 20-34, 35-49, etc)
•      For each role confirm the salary scale and grade
•      What is the percentage of those who are of an ethnic origin?
•      What is the split between male and female of the ethnic roles

There are 4 roles that fall within the scope of this request.  Age, gender and ethnic origin data are exempt under section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, personal information, however we can provide the following information:

Chief Executive,  Roddy Burns - pay grade ‘00 Chief Executive’
Chief Financial Officer, Lorraine Paisey - pay grade ‘Chief Officials 30’
Monitoring Officer,  Alasdair McEachan - pay grade ‘Chief Officials 30’
Chief Social Work Officer,  Jane Mackie - pay grade ‘Chief Officials 30’ (IJB)
