How many reports of sexual abuse against adults with disabilities has your council received?

Could you please provide the number of reports in the last five financial years, and break down your answer by those with learning difficulties/those with physical disabilities if possible?

For each incident, could you please provide an outcome of the report (eg, investigation launched) or supply information on the usual protocol after such a report is received by the council?

This information is recorded on a case-by-case basis and are not categorised in any way. As such, finding this information would involve a manual search of a large number of reports which would cost the council in excess of £600 of staff time. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, excessive cost, we are therefore unable to comply with your request.
