My questions regard the Royal hotel in Forres.
1. In the last 5 years how many people have the council housed at this property? Can you give these figures as a number of males and a number of females?
2. For these people what is the average length of stay at the hotel?
3. Is this information comparable to the same information for the previous 5 years? If not how is it different?

For Q1/Q2, data is only available for the past four reporting years since it has been mainly sourced from the Scottish Government HL3 Return which became mandatory from April 2016. We implemented a new system in 2015/16 to report the HL3, which means that only partial data is available for 2015/16 and therefore this will be understated for Q1/Q2.

As the number of people has been requested, the following table includes members of the same household e.g. a couple occupying the same room and is based on date of entry to the placement.
Note that the number of households accommodated during this period would be less than the figures provided. An assumption has been made that all members of the household have occupied the accommodation if they indicated on their homeless application that they require rehousing together.
From April 2019, the Council no longer uses this accommodation.
