3.  Please detail the main reasons encountered by the council for the rejection of grant applications.

1. To provide this information would cost the Council in excess of £600 and so in accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002; excessive cost, please be advised we are unable to comply with this part of your request.

3. Applications for a Business Grant were only  rejected when the information contained in the application failed to satisfy the qualifying conditions stated in the guidance provided by Scottish Government.  The reasons for rejection were thus unique to each application.
