Requests

Books, DVDs, CDs and art prints not immediately available may be reserved online or by completing a request form at any library in Moray.  We will contact you when the item is available for collection.  There is no charge for this service.  

In certain circumstances a book or periodical article may be obtained from another library authority, in which case there is a one way postal charge.  Find out more about the Inter Library Loans Service.

Renewals and Overdues

Borrowed items, except art prints, may be renewed by telephone, online, or during a visit to the library, unless the item has been requested by another borrower or has reached the maximum number of renewals allowed.

You may renew an item twice by telephone, four times by bringing it to the library provided no one else has requested the item.

When compact discs or DVDs are renewed a further loan charge is payable.

Items not returned by the date due will incur an overdue charge.

You can now request and renew items online.

You will need your Borrower and Pin numbers  (Your Borrower number is printed on your library card.)

If you have forgotten your PIN please contact a member of the Library Staff. They will be able to tell you what your current PIN is.

There are no overdue charges for items borrowed by those under 16 or over 60 years of age.
