1) Amount of school clothing grant set by the local authority for the school years 2018-2019, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (to date) detailing any difference between primary and secondary if this occurred.

2)  Total amount of money the local authority has awarded in school clothing grant in each of the school years 2018-2019, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (to date).

3)  Total number of children that have been awarded grants for school clothing in each of the school years 2018-2019, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (to date).

4)  Total number of families awarded school clothing grants in each of the school years 2018-2019, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (to date).

5)  Breakdown of the number of awards for those attending primary or secondary, and (if applicable) nursery or special school for each of the school years with 2018-2019, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 (to date).

6)  Does the authority automatically pay the school clothing grant and if so, what data do you use? For example, free school meal data, housing benefit data etc?

7)  Do you roll over families’ entitlement to school clothing grant from one school year to the next? If so, what are the criteria for the grant being rolled over?

8)  Do you identify families that may be entitled to school clothing grant, but aren't receiving it, and proactively contact them to advise them to apply for it?

9)  Is information recorded according to the 6 priority family types* identified as being at higher risk of child poverty?

10)  Has any additional help been given to families for school clothing in 2022-23? For example, an extra one-off payment. If so what type and number of payments have been made?

2021/22 - £120 for Primary School pupils and £150 for Secondary School pupils
