1.  Please could you share the number of pupils currently attending Lossiemouth High School who have additional needs?

2.  Please could you provide a breakdown of that number by percentage of which primary school those pupils attended?

3.  Please could you provide the financial cost of providing support for those pupils?

4.  Please you share the list of pupils awarded the Dux at Lossiemouth High School and which primary school they attended?

5.  Please can you share the data on the number of pupils who perform well academically at LHS, and what percentage of those are former Hopeman Primary School pupils?

Response 23-04-2025

1. 2024/25 - 286 pupils with an ASN at Lossiemouth High

2. Breakdown of those pupils by previous primary school:  Burghead 16%, Hopeman 16%, Hythehill 29%, St Gerardines 28%.  The remaining 11% are pupils from 14 different schools.

3. The budget for Additional Support Needs for Lossiemouth High school for 2024-25 is £418,628.

4. We do not release the names of pupils and the schools they attended. This response is exempt under Section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
- personal information.

5. The Education Pupil Performance Report for Primary and Secondary Schools (PPR) for School Session 2023/2024 which has stats on how schools have performed compared to other Moray schools and against national and virtual comparators is published and available on the Moray Council website. This information is therefore exempt under section 25 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, information otherwise accessible. This data has not been drilled down to show if pulls came from Hopeman Primary as this would be very challenging to do.
