I am requesting the following information relating to rodent infestations within your local authority area, for the calendar years 2023, 2024, and 2025 (or up to most recent data where possible).
1. Total Number of Residential Rodent Infestations:
Please provide the total number of residential rodent infestations that your council dealt with or responded to (e.g., through direct pest control services, advice, or recorded incidents) for:
a) Calendar year 2023
b) Calendar year 2024
c) Calendar year 2025
2. Non-Residential Public Buildings
Total Number of Rodent Infestations in Non-Residential Public Buildings:
Please provide the total number of rodent infestations that your council dealt with or responded to within non-residential public buildings owned or directly managed by the council.
a) Calendar year 2023

c) Calendar year 2025
3. Expenditure on Residential Rodent Infestations:

2. The partial figures for 2023 and part of 2024 will only be for Environmental Health.
From April 2024 Environmental Health ceased providing a pest control service, therefore each council building and school will have there own set up with contractors.
a) 25 (Environmental Health only)
b) 9 (Part year only, stopped service 1 April 2024)
c) Moray Council Environmental Health no longer offer this service
