1. How many children and young people living in temporary accommodation have been required to move school in your local authority each year since 1999?

1. Not held. The information requested is not recorded. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

Social Work have confirmed that, in cases where a family moves to temporary accommodation with support (through the child's plan), consistency in their education would be our focus.

Housing have confirmed that, where possible, we will always try and accommodate families where they wish to reside and close to their established networks, i.e.employment, schools, family supports etc.
