I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from the local authority. Please may you provide me with:

1. The total number of school uniform grants handed out in the previous financial year.
2. The total value in £ of all the grants issued last year
3. What is the maximum individual grant worth in 2025/26 in GBP£
4. What is the deadline to apply for this year’s latest grant
5. Which age groups/school years do they support
6. If you don’t offer a school uniform grant, could you explain why

1.1498 clothing grants awarded for 2024/25

2. Total value £197,340

3. Clothing Grants for 2025/26 are £120 for primary school pupils and £150 for secondary school pupils

4. The clothing grant year runs from 1st April to 31st March; you can claim a clothing grant for this year up to 31/03/2026

5. Primary school and secondary school pupils

6. If you are eligible for an EMA then you can't apply for a clothing grant
