1. I’d like to request a list of all bridges currently closed or restricted in the local authority area, including
a) The date they closed or became restricted
b) If known, the estimated cost of bringing them back into use
c) If known, the estimated timescales for bringing them back into use

The following bridges are currently closed to all vehicles:
Cloddach Bridge, closed in 2022. Cost estimate to replace structure = approx £4.5million, awaiting UK government review decision on funding, 123rd on prioritisation.
Trochail Bridge, closed in 2025. Cost estimate to replace structure = approx £400,000. Likely 20 years+ due to 125th position on prioritisation.
Drumin Bridge, closed in 2024. Cost estimate to replace structure = approx. £4 million, Likely 10+ years due to 33rd position on prioritisation.
The following bridges have weight restrictions on them:
Arthur's Bridge (7.5T), actioned 2020, Proposed replacement within next 3 years at an estimated cost up to £7 million, 4th on prioritisation.
Lea Bridge (3T), actioned 2008.
Cloves Bridge (7.5T), actioned 1983.
Bow Bridge (7.5T - environmental restriction), actioned 1975.
Charlotte St Bridge (18T), actioned 2003.
Delfur Bridge (26T) - Weight limit signage installed in 2009.
Ailnack Bridge (17T) - Weight restriction order put in place 1987.
Cappieshill Bridge (7.5T) - 2021.
Other than Arthur's Bridge there is no current plans to strengthen or replace any of the other weight restricted structures.
