Response 15-10-2025

1. We are not aware of any particular specified amount of hours for social workers at point of qualification or post qualification pertaining to the conditions listed. Each social worker may have different training, depending on their background.

2. All SW staff undertake social work assessments in collaboration with the individuals referred to them and their families.  This includes taking into account the views of relevant others which would include MDT colleagues etc.

3. All social workers are qualified and registered with the SSSC and receive professional supervision.  Staff have access to support and guidance and work in a collaborative way with relevant others including those who would hold what is considered ‘expert’ knowledge eg clinical.
