Electric Vehicle Charging Point Relief

An Electric Vehicle Charging Point relief  scheme has been put in place from 1 April 2026.  It makes provision for eligible properties to receive 100% relief from the payment of rates. 

Qualifying Criteria

This relief is available if the following conditions are met:

• the site consists wholly or mainly of an electric vehicle charging point and its associated bay; and
• the charging point is primarily intended for use by the public.
