Council Tax Charge
The Moray Council set its Council Tax for the next financial year, 2011-12, at a meeting of the Council on 10th February, 2011. The Council has continued to freeze its Council Tax charge at 2007-08 levels, the amount levied for properties in Band D remaining at £1,135.00. This means that there will be no rise in Council Tax bills for Council Taxpayers who pay both Water and Waste Water charges to the Scottish Water Authority via their Council Tax bill (the Scottish Water Authority previously announced a decrease in its 2011-12 Water Charge and an increase in its 2011-12 Waste Water Charge, the net effect of which was no increase in its total charge to domestic customers) .

These amounts do not include any entitlement to Benefit, Disabled Banding Reduction, Discount or Exemption.
